Software Update Protection

What is Quadient Oceania Software Update Protection policy?
Quadient Oceania customers are provided 12 months of software upgrade protection coverage with the purchase of any new software license. Software upgrade protection includes access to all major and minor version upgrades for 12 months from the date of purchase at no additional charge for the customer.
For example, if a new OMS-500 license is purchased on September 1, 2014, Software Update Protection will expire on August 31, 2015. During this time, the customer can download and install any minor version upgrades — and, if Neopost Australia issues a major release of OMS-500 before expiration date, the license can be upgraded to the latest version at no additional charge. With Neopost Australia’ software upgrade protection coverage, customers will always have access to the latest features and fixes.

Does Software Update Protection automatically renew?
Actually, no. Auto-renewal can be a hassle for many businesses. We strongly encourage our customers to contract a software upgrade protection for the length of their contract. If you prefer to contract software upgrade protection year on year, please make sure you contact Neopost Australia at least 60 days before expiry of your current coverage period. This will avoid you to miss the renewal date.

Can I renew after my Software Update Protection has expired?
Quadient Oceania does not offer the ability to renew your software upgrade protection if your current one has expired. It is really important you make sure to renew your software upgrade protection at least 60 days before expiry.

I have current Software Update Protection coverage. How do I upgrade my software to the latest version?
If you have current Software Upgrade Protection coverage, Quadient Oceania will automatically upgrade your license key to the most recent version when new versions are released. This will allow you to download and install the newest version of the product from the Neopost Australia website.
How do I extend/renew my Software Update Protection?
Customers can renew their Software Update Protection up to 60 days before their current coverage expires, ensuring continuous coverage for an additional 12 months.
For example, the customer that purchased a new OMS-500 license on September 1, 2014, may renew his Software Update Protection as early as July 1, 2015 (60 days before his current Software Update Protection coverage expires) to extend his Software Update Protection coverage through August 31, 2016.

Do I have to renew Software Update Protection for hosted services?
Neopost Australia hosted services automatically include Software Update Protection however, access to certain features on hosted services may require a change of hosted services plan. Please contact your sales manager for more details.

NOTE: Quadient Oceania does not offer auto-renewals for Software Update Protection.
